Four civilian were injured after the armies of India and Pakistan trade fresh shelling in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

An official said that the civilian Riyaz Ahmed Kathana, Meena Begum, Asif Ahmad and Ishtiyak Ahmad sustained injuries in Kamalkote along Line of Control (LOC).

He said that Pakistani army in voilation of ceasefire targeted Indian army’s posts besides civilian population resulting in injuries to the civilian.

Earlier a residential house was damaged after a shell landed in the residential area at Batar Jabda Kamalkote.

When reports last came in, the intermittent exchange of cross-border firing was going on.
