Four Cops Injured in Srinagar-Bound Police Vehicle Crash

   

SRINAGAR: A police vehicle travelling from Doda to Srinagar was involved in an accident near Banihal, resulting in injuries to at least four police personnel on Saturday.

An official informed the news agency KS that a police vehicle with the registration number JK02 4560 had an accident at Chamalwas, Banihal, causing injuries to four officers.

“The injured officers were promptly transported from the scene to a hospital for treatment,” the official stated.

He identified the injured officers as Adil Nazir, son of Nazir Ahmad, resident of Hazratbal, Srinagar; Mehraj-ud-Din, son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Noor Bagh; Sajad Ahmad, son of Assadullah of Qazigund, and Parvaiz Ahmad, son of Abdul Rashid of Anantnag.

“Three of the injured officers have minor injuries, while one has a fracture in his right arm,” the official added. (KS)
