SRINAGAR: Four tourists from Kerala died while two were injured after a vehicle, they were travelling in, rolled down into a deep gorge on Zojila Pass in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday, officials said.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that the vehicle on its way to Sonamarg skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge on Zojila Pass. “In the incident, four tourists died while two others were injured. They were immediately shifted to a nearby healthcare facility for treatment.”
“One of the critically injured persons was later shifted to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment,” the official added.
An unconfirmed report said that four visitors who were killed in the accident were from Kerela and two of them have been evacuated to the hospital in critical conditions.
