SRINAGAR: District Panchayat Election Officer Kishtwar Ashok Kumar Sharma has placed two employees of education department under suspension for the dereliction of election duty.
The employees were attached in the office of ADDC Kishtwar during the suspension period.
ADDC, Mohammad Hanief Malik has been appointed as inquiry officer and asked to conduct a detailed inquiry into the matter as warranted under election rule.
Meanwhile, an Inspector Forest Protection Force and Field Supervisor SFC have been suspended for their alleged involvement in political activities and violation of MCC.
SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar has been appointed as inquiry officer and asked to conduct an inquiry into their involvement in the violation of MCC and furnish a report within 15 days.
