SRINAGAR: At least four persons were injured when a bus overturned on the Jammu–Rajouri Highway in the Sunderbani area of Rajouri district on Wednesday. An official said that a passenger bus met with an accident and overturned near the Thandapani area on the Jammu–Rajouri–Poonch National Highway, resulting in injuries to four persons.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. They have been identified as Ajit Singh, son of Bihari Singh, resident of Paloura, Jammu; Bandha Kumari, wife of Chetan Sharma, resident of Talab Tillo; Wahid Hussain, son of Harshad Hussain, resident of Surankote; and Arshad Hussain, son of Mohammad Sharif, resident of Surankote.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation. (JKNS)
