Four people were injured on Monday after their car in which they were travelling in met with an accident on Srinagar-Leh highway in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Reports said that the accident occurred after two cars collided with each other at Kijpora Kangan, resulting in injuries to four people including a woman.

An official identified the injured persons as Mohd Ashraf Mir, a resident of Sumbal Bandipora, Sharifa Bano, a resident of Cherwan Kangan, Irfan Ahmad Dar of Margund Kangan and Siraj Ahmad Mir.

The four injured persons were later shifted to Kangan hospital where from two critically injured Siraj Ahmed Mir and Mohammad Ashraf Mir were referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
