Four persons were injured in different road accidents in the valley while six residential houses were damaged in three separate fire incidents in the valley, police said on Thursday.
In Kulgam, a passenger Auto bearing registration number JK03B-0259 driven by Muneeb Ahmad Lone resident of Reshipora hit and injured a girl Sahiba Jan resident of Behibagh at Behibagh. The injured was shifted to Public Health Center Behibagh for treatment.
In Budgam, an Alto 800 car driven by Mohammad Lateef Khan resident of Khanpora hit and injured a lady Sakeena resident of Khanpora at Khanpora Khag. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
In Kupwara, a van bearing registration number JK01 AA-7577 hit and injured a lady Mukhti Begum resident of Natnussa. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Handwara for treatment.
Meanwhile, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK09A-1689 driven by Manzoor Ahmad Lone resident of Kulangam skidded off the road at Helpal near TRC Kupwara, resulting in injuries to the driver. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment.
Meanwhile, six residential houses were damaged in three separate fire incidents in the valley.
Fire broke out in the residential house of Mohammad Shafi Bhat resident of Zangalpora Devsar, Kulgam. The fire engulfed nearby residential houses belonging to Gull Mohammad Bhat and Fayaz Ahmad.
In another incident, fire broke out in the residential house of Abdul Aziz Rather resident of Patoo Mohalla Ajas, Bandipora, resulting in damage to the house.
In another incident, fire broke out in the residential houses of Showkat Ahmad Lone and Bashir Ahmad Lone residents of Bewoora Srigufwara, Islamabad, resulting in damage to both the houses.
However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.
Police said that fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals in all the cases.
