Four policemen killed in Sopore IED blast

At least four policemen were killed in an IED blast in north Kashmir’s Sopore town of Baramulla district on Saturday.

A top police official said that militants detonated Improvised Explosive Device killing four cops on the spot.

The deceased were identified as ASI Irshad Ahmad EXK number 825685 resident of Doda district, constable Mohammad Amin belt number 470/IRP3rd resident of Sogam district Kupwara, constable Ghulam Nabi belt number 720/IRP 3rd resident of Rohama Rafiabad and constable Parvaiz Ahmed Belt number 915/IRP resident of village Handwara.

Reports also said the causality may go up.
