Officials said that four girls were found missing from the shelter home on January 25 and immediately police was informed who registered a case and started an investigation.
“The CCTV footage showed these girls escaping from the back side of the shelter home at around 3 am on January 25,” a senior officer of children-cum-shelter home Baramulla said. “The four girls were here for the last six months.”

The four minor girls from Rohingya in Myanmar were rescued in July last year after a human trafficking module was busted in Baramulla district by police. The human trafficking module was operating in the Ushkura area of the Baramulla. (UNI)
