A day after the killing of a youth three more youths and 3 CRPF men were injured Sunday in fresh clashes between protesters and government forces in Qaimoh Kulgam.
Sources said that clashes erupted in Qaimoh as a large number of protesters raised slogans against the killing Suhail Ahmad Lone last evening.
“The protesters pelted stones on forces who responded with lathicharge and tear gas shelling in which three youths were wounded,” sources said.
They have been shifted to district and sub-district hospitals. One youth who is yet to be identified has been hit by a tear gas shell on his head, sources said.
District Islamabad and Kulgam witnessed a complete shutdown to protest Suhail’s killing in Khudwani on Saturday.
