SRINAGAR: Fresh light snowfall began at Zojila Pass and Minamarg on Monday evening, prompting an advisory for motorists travelling along the Sonamarg–Zojila–Minamarg route.
Commuters have been advised to follow traffic control room updates, carry anti-skid snow chains and maintain safe speeds while travelling through the higher-altitude stretches.
The Meteorological Department has forecast generally cloudy weather across Jammu and Kashmir, with light rain or snowfall likely at isolated places over the next 24 hours.
