SRINAGAR

Amid the incessant rainfall, fresh snowfall has started in south Kashmir’s Dooru and Verinag areas on Sunday.

The snowfall has started at that time when the flood panic is building over parts of valley, forcing administration to “combat the natural fury on war-footing”.

Already, the rainfall that started since Saturday has forced 221 families in central Kashmir’s Budgam area to shift to safer places.

Though the administration besides MeT department is turning down the flood threat, but the panic in public is only building up in the face of incessant rains.
