From Palhallan, Para Seeks Involvement of Youth for Peace, Prosperity

Waheed Ur Rehman ParraPolitical Analyst in Chief Minister’s office, Waheed-Ur-Rehman Para Wednesday visited various areas of Palhallan in Pattan area and took stock of the developmental scenario there.

He interacted with the people and got first hand appraisal of the people’s problems. “People of the area put up their local demands including macdamization of roads. They also sought Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s intervention to get a sports stadium for the area, so that the local youth acquire sporting skills to participate in events at national and international levels,” an official statement said Wednesday evening.

Para assured them that the Government is committed to redress the public issues and ensure developmental activities in a phased manner. He said the Government has made a well-planned strategy to ensure speedy development of the State on all fronts, the benefits of which shall percolate to grass-root level soon.

He also ensured them that the Chief Minister is committed to empower all sections of the society especially the youth.

“Under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the government is committed to empower all sections and provide them equal opportunities of education and employment,” said Para.

Para further added that youth have become partners in the movement launched by PDP under the leadership of Chief Minister for establishing a new system of justice and transparency in the state.

Stressing on the youth to strive for change within the system, Para said, “the present government is involving youth as the harbingers of change which will usher a new era of peace, prosperity and development in Jammu and Kashmir.”
