Police recovered fukki from a truck at Fruit Mandi, Sopore, police said on Wednesday. According to sources the incident occurred on Tuesday.
A statement said that on a tip off, Sopore police searched a Truck bearing registration number JK05A/8573 at fruit Mandi, Sopore.
During the search, police recovered Fukki from five boxes in the truck. However, the driver of the truck fled from the spot.
A case FIR No: 273/2013 under section 8/17 NDPS Act was registered in Police station Sopore in this regard and investigation has been started.
