SRINAGAR: The University of Canada has announced the McCall MacBain Scholarship, a fully funded opportunity for international students seeking to pursue higher studies at the university. The deadline for submitting application forms is August 24, 2023.

The scholarship is available for a wide range of master’s degree programmes at the University of Canada. The programmes include MA (Arts), MArch (Architecture), MATL (Arts in Teaching and Learning), MBA (Business Administration), MEd (Education), MEng (Engineering), MISt (Information Studies), MM (Management), and MMus (Music). In addition, second-entry professional undergraduate degrees such as BCL/JD (Law), DMD (Dentistry), and MDCM (Medicine) are also covered by the scholarship programme.

To be eligible, applicants must have earned their first bachelor’s degree within the past five years (from January 2018 onwards) and be under the age of 30.

Successful applicants will receive a full tuition waiver. They will also be provided with a monthly stipend of 2,000 CAD (1,24,586 INR) to support their living expenses.

To apply for the scholarship, candidates are required to submit certain documents. These include two references (one academic and one professional), an official or unofficial transcript of their academic records, and a one-page resume highlighting their achievements and experiences.
