SRINAGAR: The McGill University of Canada offers a fully funded scholarship for students who want to pursue a Master’s degree and second-entry professional undergraduate degrees.
International students with a Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply. Candidates must be actively engaged in community-related matters and demonstrate leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, good intellectual capability, and solid academic performance.
A total of 30 full scholarships and 100 entrance awards will be offered for summer/fall 2024 admission in fields such as Arts, Architecture, Business, Engineering, Public Policy, Urban Planning, Law, Medicine, and Dentistry, among others.
The documents required for the scholarship include a CV/resume, academic transcripts, a personal statement, a letter of recommendation, an experience certificate, and valid identity proof.
The scholarship covers tuition fees and provides a living stipend of 2,000 USD (1,67,338 INR) per month during the entire tenure. Additionally, a one-time relocation grant to Canada, Canadian educational exposure, familiarity with people and culture, and new job opportunities will also be provided.
The application deadline for the scholarships is September 25, 2024, for graduates from Canada and the United States, and August 21, 2024, for graduates from international universities.
