SRINAGAR: To enhance project efficiency and synchronisation, the General Administration Department (GAD) of Jammu and Kashmir has mandated mapping of all new or proposed infrastructure projects with civil costs of Rs 20 crore and above on the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP) digital platform.
As per the official order, the decision follows the Minutes of the Meeting of the Empowered Group of Secretaries (EGOS) held on February 24, 2025, and seeks to improve integrated planning and coordination.
The order reads, “In order to ensure efficiency and with a view to promote synchronisation in project implementation through integrated planning and efficient coordination, it is hereby ordered that all Administrative Departments shall mandatorily map all new/proposed infrastructure projects with a civil cost of Rs 20.00 crore and above on the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan (PMGS-NMP) digital platform.” (JKNS)
