Residents of Ganderbal said that the damaged receiving station that was restored and repaired by the government is ready but the area is waiting for Chief Engineer’s five minutes to put it on.
The Tull Bagh Receiving Station was damaged earlier creating a severe law and order situation in the area. The government took it up on emergency basis and restored the station. While it is ready, the top officials are allegedly busy and unable to spear a few moments to throw it open.
“We are approaching the field staff and they say it will be opened the day Chief Engineer will find time to come and put it on,” Habibullah, a resident of Chandina said. “Kindly request the Chief Engineer to spear a few minutes and put it on so that thousands of residents can have light in their homes.”
