SRINAGAR: A gas cylinder explosion injured a couple at their residence in the Parigam area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district late Tuesday evening.
According to reports, the blast caused burn injuries to a 34-year-old woman and her 32-year-old husband. Both were immediately rushed to the district hospital in Pulwama before being referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for advanced treatment.
Hospital authorities have confirmed that the couple’s condition is stable and that they remain under medical observation.
Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the explosion. (JKNS)
