Asking India to accept the aspirations and demand to return the mortal remains of Parliament convict Mohammad Afzal Guru to his family, chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani said that one point agenda will continue until India returns the mortal remains.

“It is our one point agenda and genuine demand to return mortal remains. Government of India should understand that it is our right to ask and get the mortal remains once they execute our youth”, Geelani told a local news agency, KNS over phone from Delhi.

Condemning the alleged use of force against the peaceful protestors in Baramullah, he said, “One youth has been martyred in Baramullah. Now this is the excess of atrocities India is committing against us. It (India) is hell bent to commit genocide in Kashmir”, said Geelani.

“We (Kashmiris) get martyrdom in three ways. One, when we resist against atrocities of India, second, in saving our properties and third when we make an effort to save our ‘dignity and honor’ against the assaults committed against us by India”, he added.

He expressed the solidarity and sympathies with the family of Tahir Rasool and prayed for the eternal peace of departed soul.

He said that India is using its absolute power against the people of Kashmir.

“I’m arriving to Kashmir on March 7 by noon flight”, informed Geelani. He appealed people to maintain peace.
