Chairman Hurriyat conference (G), Syed Ali Geelani  has appealed for peaceful protest demonstrations after Friday prayers on July 19 against the mysterious death of two Kashmiri youth in Rajasthan and Mumbai.

“It is a serious matter,” said Geelani in a statement adding “until the facts are traced it is obligatory for us to raise voice against such brutal killings.”

Geelani condemned the continued detention of Ab Gani Bhat, district President Tehreek e Hurriyat Sopore,Ab Ahad Pariah ,Gen Sec (Muslim League),and other Muslim League leaders including  Asad Ullah Paray,Master Nazir Ahmad,Mohammad Rafiq Raina,Khazir Mohammad Ganai, Pir Abdul Majid, Tahir-ul-Islam and added “on one hand  they  constantly kill our youth in series and on other hand Omer Abdullah led administration  is hell-bent to muzzle genuine voices of people and even do not permit  to mourn for our near and dear ones.”

 Geelani in his statement said although nothing is definitive in this regard but administration has attributed the killings with the accident. “Until all the facts are not brought up with the evidences, it cannot say anything with authority,” Geelani said, adding “the way  Kashmiri youth   are treated and terrified outside the state ,there is every possibility that the two might have  been  subjected to torture and come across with a pre-planned event.”
