Geelani condemns shifting of Masarat Alam to Tihar jail

APHC chairman Syed Ali Geelani condemned the shifting of Hurriyat leader Masarat Alam Bhat to Tihar jail by Indian Investigating Agency NIA on Tuesday.

Syed Ali Geelani in a statement said that Masrat Alam is behind bars continuously for the last 9 years, during which judicial houses itself have quashed his detention 37 times, “but rulers under the intoxication of the arrogance of their power and might have disobeyed the court orders.”
