In a statement issued from New Delhi, All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) spokesperson Ayaz Akbar said ailing Syed Ali Geelani “is recovering and is feeling better”.
“Geelani Sahab was comfortable in the night and had good sleep. He also had his breakfast this morning,” Ayaz said.
Geelani had complained of severe chest pain on Thursday morning after which he was rushed to Max Hospital by his daughter.
The octogenarian Hurriyat leader was admitted in ICU and later last evening shifted to normal ward of the hospital.
