Octogenarian Hurriyat patriarch Syed Ali Geelani on Tuesday expressed the heartfelt grief over the demise of daughter of late Ab Gani Lone.
Geelani said, “We had cordial and affectionate relations. It is a personnel loss for me. Geelani prayed for her heavenly aboard and forbiddance to family to bear this loss.”
Meanwhile, Geelani condemned the forces action and “vandalising” of properties in Wagud Tral saying the forces are following the “aggressive policies of their masters”.
He said that this is a deliberate attempt to harass people and make them scare and added however they should know that since 1947 we are facing such situation and these cruelties won’t deter us from our mission.
