Srinagar

A senior resistance leader and Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Monday was shifted to Srinagar hospital for a medical check-up after he complained of chest pain.

Reports said that soon after the patriarch complained of a severe chest pain he was immediately taken to Srinagar’s SKIMS hospital where he underwent some medical tests and calibration of the pacemaker. However, he was taken back soon after some necessary checkups.

It is pertinent to mention here, the octogenarian leader is undergoing house detention since 2010, when he led a mass uprising, at his home in uptown Hyderpora.
