SRINAGAR: Three top separatist leaders Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik have paid tributes to the eight youth who were killed on daylong polling in central Kashmir. They accused PDP and NC for the bloodshed.

NC, PDP playing deceitful politics: Geelani

Blaming pro-Indian parties for bloodshed and present mayhem, a statement issued by Hurriyat (g) quoted Geelani saying that “deceitful politics” of NC and PDP is now over and “sooner the better they should wind up their shops.” He dubbed accused Mehbooba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah as “swindlers” now shedding crocodile tears over these killings.

Referring to an earlier statement of Mehbooba Mufti that “200-odd gunmen can’t compete her seven lakh forces personnel”, Geelai’s spokesman said that it was an apparent threat and a warning message to common people.

“These men in uniform are responsible for brutal killings on Election Day and snatched eye sight from scores of innocents,” the statement said. “Mehbooba is playing deceit and lamentation over these killings is just a mockery and political gimmick.”

Blaming National Conference for present chaos in state, spokesman said that they share the sole responsibility for continuous killings. “It was Farooq Abdullah, who in 1996 raised police task force and thousands of innocents were either killed or disappeared during custody,” the statement said. “In 2010, during Omer Abdullah’s administration, hundreds of innocent youngsters were massacred. It is disheartening that till now he never regretted about these killings nor some single personnel involved in these killings was brought to book.”

Referring to Farooq’s recent statement that stone palters were striving just for Kashmir cause, the spokesman said the “turncoat politician” quickly criticized administration for failing in providing conducive atmosphere for polls. “It clearly depicts their double dealing,” the spokesman said.

India kills our youth for sport: Mirwaiz

While paying tributes to the eight young boys Aqeel Ahmad Wani, Adil Farooq Sheikh, Shabir Ahmad Bhat, Faizan Ahmad, Muhammad Abbas, Nisar Ahmad, Amir Bashir Malla and Umar Farooq killed by the forces on Sunday, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq has said that “India kills our youth for sport”.

Mirwaiz said that it looks very unlikely that any amount of condemnation of this inhuman approach of killing and maiming us is going to change Delhi’s attitude. He said it is getting clear by the day that the current dispensation in Delhi has decided to adopt a repressive military approach in dealing with the the political and human problem of Kashmir.

“Local quisling aiding our genocide the PDP has lost all sense of shame and sensitivity to the pain, suffering and sacrifices of the people of Kashmir,” Mirwaiz said.

“APHC said in this scenario of severe repression, the courage and resolve once again displayed by the people of Kashmir by rejecting the election drama and the absolutely clear message they send to Delhi and the world that their goal is the right to self-determination and nothing else, reassures that repression and killing cannot cow down a nation yearning for freedom even in the wake of such military oppression of a mighty country,” the statement added.

Exemplary boycott is a referendum: Malik

Terming the exemplary boycott as a referendum, JKLF leader Yasin Malik said the 5% theory of Mehbooba Mufti has today come true but with one big correction that even 5% Kashmiris are not with India.

“Kashmiris can not be forced into submission by this killing spree, maiming and other oppressive measures,” Malik was quoted saying. “Frustrated by the exemplary boycott and peaceful protest across valley against this drama, soldiers and police at the behest of so-called rulers target fired upon many innocent youth at various places and killed and injured many of them. For this killing spree Mehbooba Mufti, her government
