The followers of ailing Hurriyat (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani in some areas of Srinagar were seen sacrificing Goats for his speedy recovery on Saturday.

Reports reached Kashmir Life suggested that people bought Goats and sacrificed them amid special prayers for the recovery of Geelani.

“We are praying for the well being of our leader,” said one present while a Goat was being sacrificed.

85 years old Geelani is unwell from last three days. He was examined by two teams of doctors at his residence but he refused to get hospitalized.

IMG-20140308-WA0004Geelani’s family sources said that he has developed severe infections in his chest and has lost almost ten Kg’s of weight. Geelani has also developed severe pain in his back.

Meanwhile people are enquiring about Geelani’s health from each other and media men also receive phone calls from every nook and corner asking about it.
