SRINAGAR: Ghulam Nabi, who has been working as the key manager in the Urdu newspaper, Aftaab is no more. He breathed his last on June 20, 2022, evening at his residence.
A resident of Nawab Bazar, Ghulam Nabi was recently detected with a renal problem, a problem that eventually took his life. He was admitted to the SMHS hospital. He is survived by a son and daughter. He is expected to be laid to rest, later tonight.
In his early sixties, Ghulam Nabi was serving the newspaper for a long time. He has actually grown in the newspaper after starting as an assistant to the manager. He was a confidant of the newspaper founder, Khawaja Sanulalah Bhat and would sometimes represent him in meetings. He was very loyal to the institution and worked for 40 years.
