A Girl was electrocuted to death in Marqundal area of Sumbal in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday morning.
An official said that a 17-year-old girl identified as Samiya Bano, daughter of Abdul Rasheed was electrocuted when she came in contact with a live wire inside her home at Marqundal area of Sumbal.
She was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival, he said, adding that after completing all legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites.
