SRINAGAR: A girl was injured in a landmine blast near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district.
According to reports,a 12 year old girl identified as Jameela Bi was returning home after grazing her goats when she accidentally stepped on a landmine near her Sokud-Bagyal Dhara village in Shahpur sector on Friday evening.
She was seriously injured in the explosion and was immediately evacuated to the nearby military hospital where from doctors referred her to Poonch district hospital for specialised treatment.
