As per a police spokesperson six cattle were electrocuted while a girl was injured when a HT line fell over them in Awantipora.
The spokesperson said a High Tension line fell from the electric pole at Dogripora, Awantipora, resulting in injuries to a 9 years girl Saleema, daughter of Gulsher Khan resident of Thater Koot, Reasi. Besides, two sheep and four goats died due to electric shock. The injured girl was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bijbehara for treatment.
