A 17-year-old girl was hit by a sumo vehicle in Zalangam, Kokernag area of district Islamabad resulting in injuries to the girl.
An official said that the girl met with an accident on Zalangama road “she was hit by a speedy vehicle bearing registration number JK13A 6077 resulting in injuries to the girl,” he said.
However, the injured girl identified as Seerat Jan, daughter of Manzoor Ahmed Wani, a resident of Kokernag village was rushed to district hospital Islamabad from where they were shifted to SKIMS Srinagar for the specialized treatment, and the girl said to be stable now.
Meanwhile, the Police station Kokernag has seized the sumo vehicle and arrested the driver identified as Arif Manzoor Wani, son of Manzoor Ahmed Wani, a resident of Larnu Noboog village of Islamabad.
