A girl on Monday evening attempted suicide by jumping into river Jhelum in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said that a girl name withheld jumped into river Jhelum at Chankhan area of Sopore, however timely action by the police saved the girl.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case and further investigation has been taken up.
