SRINAGAR: An girl on Saturday jumped into the river Jhelum in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district even as search and rescue operation has been launched.
Quoting an official the news agency KNO reported that following the incident, a rescue team including police immediately rushed to the spot and launched searches.
He said search operation to trace the girl was going on.
