SRINAGAR: A 26-year-old girl was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the Palhallan Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday afternoon.
As per reports, a load carried hit the girl near TCP in the Palhallan area of Pattan
The girl has been identified as Insha Gul (26) Daughter of Ghulam Mohd Mir of Nilla Pattan.
After the accident, the driver fled from the spot. The girl was rushed to a nearby hospital in Pattan where doctors declared her dead.
A police officer said that a case has been registered in this regard and further investigations taken up. (KS)
