SRINAGAR: In an unfortunate incident, a girl died due to an electric shock in the HMT area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday, officials said.
An official stated that Zeenat Nazir (15), daughter of Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Tangdhar Kupwara, presently residing at HMT Srinagar, received an electric shock and fell unconscious.
He added that immediately after the incident, she was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation—(KNO).
