‘Global Youth Foundation’ Sunday held a protest demonstration in the press colony here to register its protest against the spurious drug scandal. The Foundation demanded an inquiry commission including eminent health experts, citizens of established integrity headed by a judge, be immediately appointed to investigate the scandal.
Members of the Foundation appeared in the press colony and raised slogans against the spurious drug scandal and the people involved in it.
The protesters said, “An inquiry commission must be given the mandate to uncover the entire range of irregularities in the health department” adding “it is a shame that even after the ministers, officials and others who are charged with responsibility for our health did not stop the dance of death.”
The Foundation urged exemplary and immediate action against all those involved in the spurious drug scandal.
