SRINAGAR: Lieutenant General P K Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps (16 Corps), reviewed operational preparedness in forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu, Rajouri, and Poonch districts.
He was accompanied by the GOCs of the Ace of Spades Division (25th Infantry Division) and the Crossed Swords Division (10th Infantry Division) during his visit to multiple forward brigades.
The visit focused on assessing operational readiness and reinforcing force effectiveness to maintain control over the operational space.
Lt Gen Mishra was briefed on current operational practices, threat response mechanisms, and the state of preparedness to counter emerging challenges.
The GOC also interacted with troops and commended their professionalism and commitment. He urged them to uphold high standards of readiness, vigilance, and morale to meet evolving security demands.
The visit reflects the Indian Army’s continued focus on ensuring security and stability along the LoC. (KNO)
