SRINAGAR: In the wake of disrupted water supply caused by recent flash floods, the Government has designated area-wise officers to ensure the availability of drinking water to the public.
According to an official order, restoration works are being carried out on priority, while temporary arrangements have also been put in place to meet the urgent needs of residents.
The order further stated that citizens have been advised to contact their respective designated officer for any requirement of drinking water until normal supply is fully restored.
Officials assured that all efforts are underway to restore regular supply at the earliest and mitigate public inconvenience.(KINS)
