SRINAGAR: The General Administration Department of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued a government order on December 14, 2023, granting sanction for the deputation of a distinguished group of officers and officials from the Union Territory. These individuals are set to participate in the All India Civil Services Cricket Tournament, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from December 15 to December 21, 2023.

The list of participants includes eminent personalities from various departments, adding a touch of diversity to the cricketing lineup. Among those who will represent Jammu and Kashmir on the cricket pitch are Shaleen Kabra, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department, Mandeep K. Bhandari, IAS, Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor, Prasanna Ramaswamy G, IAS, Secretary to the Government, Transport Department, Mond Yaqoob Ittoo, Director General Budget, J&K, Shafat Yehya, Joint Director Budget, Finance Department, Naseer Rather, Chief Accounts Officer, Animal Husbandry Department, Samiulah Beigh, Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Department, Murtaza Rashid, OSD Mission Youth, Niyamatullah, Under Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department and Aamir Ashraf, Block Development Officer, RD.

Even as these officials engage in a display of cricketing talent, the Government has clarified that they will continue to fulfil their professional duties through online mode during the tournament period.
