Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Mir Saifullah Thursday informed the Legislative assembly that as per reports received from IGP Kashmir zone personnel of 73 BN of CRPF were on way to SKIMS to donate blood for their colleagues who had been injured in the Bemina attack earlier in the day.

“They reportedly met with an attack from alleged group of stone pelters at Saidpora Eidgah, Srinagar. The CRPF men retaliated and opened the fire in which one Altaf Ahmad Mir, 35 was killed,” Sifullah said.

The Minister said FIR No 15/2013 was registered in Police Station Soura and investigation was ordered.

Minister of State for Home, Mr Sajad Kichloo, while intervening,  informed the house that Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and  Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand are in Srinagar and reviewing the situation and hoped they would take an appropriate decision regarding Saidpora incident soon.

  1. Govt has to give details either right or wrong because oppostion leaders definitely will bring the issue to make a political lead for future otherwise nobody ll help the inocents of kashmiri people

    • CM will definitely issue statement .He knows what to do .Needs no advice .He has been the master of false statements as in case of Asiya and Neelofar and several other cases .But today’s casualty is of his own party worker and let us wait and watch .
