SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday issued transfers and postings of several JKAS officers in the interest of administration.
Mohammad Ashraf, Deputy Director (Administration) in the Social Welfare Department Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Deputy District Election Officer, in Srinagar.
Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat, Deputy Director of Urban Local Bodies Kashmir will now serve as Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipore.
Noor-ud-din Bhat, who was previously the Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipore is transgerred and posted as Deputy Director of Urban Local Bodies Kashmir.
The government order also transfers Shakeel Hussain from his previous posting as Deputy District Election Officer, Srinagar to the new role of Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir.
Om Parkash, District Panchayat Officer Reasi will now work as the Deputy District Election Officer Doda.
Harvinder Singh, JKAS has been posted as the Deputy District Election Officer, Samba against an available vacancy.
The governement in a seperate order announced transfers and postings for key officials in the Labour Department.
As per Government Order Abdul Rashid War, JKAS, Labour Commissioner of J&K, has been transferred and posted as Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir.
Additionally, Rehana Batul, IAS (AGMUT:2010), presently Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department and holding additional charge as Secretary, Public Grievances, will now also hold the additional charge of the post of Labour Commissioner, J&K. She will hold this additional charge until further government orders.
