SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday appointed Shahid Saleem Dar as the new Deputy Commissioner of Shopian, with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by General Administration Department Faz Lul Haseeb, who was serving as Deputy Commissioner Shopian, has been transferred and appointed as Managing Director of the JK Tourism Development Corporation. This move relieves Vivekanand Rai, IRS, Director of Tourism, Jammu, of the additional charge of the post.
Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar, JKAS, previously serving as Director of the Forensic Science Laboratory, JK, has been transferred and appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Shopian.
