SRINAGAR: In a significant move, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir issued orders on Thursday for the immediate transfers and postings of Chief Education Officers (CEOs) and their equivalents.
Abdul Hamid Fani, who previously served as the Chief Education Officer in Kupwara, has been reassigned as the Chief Education Officer in Srinagar. Meanwhile, Mohammad Mushtaq, the Chief Education Officer of Shopian, now assumes the role of Chief Education Officer in Poonch.
The reshuffling extends beyond the CEO roles, with Parkash Lal Thappa, formerly the L/A Chief Education Officer in Kathua, now appointed as the L/A Principal DIET in Doda. Kishore Kumar, previously serving as L/A Chief Education Officer, is recalled from JKSCERT and will now serve as L/A Chief Education Officer in Kathua.
Mushtaq Ahmad Qadri, the L/A Chief Education Officer in Kulgam, is transferred to Anantnag in the same capacity, while Jagdeep Kumar Padha, the Coordinator of Samagra Shiksha, assumes the role of L/A Chief Education Officer in Jammu.
Majid Ahmad Kohli, formerly L/A Chief Education Officer in Ganderbal, is now appointed as the L/A Principal DIET in Ganderbal. Bishamber Dass, previously serving as L/A Chief Education Officer in Poonch, is transferred to Rajouri in the same capacity.
Romi Kumar, an L/A Chief Education Officer, and Equivalent, is recalled from JKSCERT and now serves as L/A Principal DIET in Kishtwar. Mohammad Shabir, who previously held the position of L/A Chief Education Officer in Srinagar, now takes on the role in Shopian.
Kamal Kishore Badyal, the L/A Chief Education Officer in Anantnag, is transferred to serve as L/A Principal DIET in Anantnag. Sandhra Malhotra, formerly the L/A Principal DIET in Doda, assumes the position of L/A Principal DIET in Jammu.
In a key appointment, Abdul Majeed Dar, formerly the L/A Principal DIET in Bandipora, is now designated as the L/A Chief Education Officer in Kupwara. Mohammad Yousaf Jan, who served as the L/A Principal DIET in Ganderbal, now takes on the role of L/A Chief Education Officer in Kulgam, and Muzamil Akhter, previously L/A Principal DIET in Anantnag, is transferred to serve as L/A Chief Education Officer in Ganderbal.
