Both houses of J&K Legislature were prorogued on Friday.
Governor N N Vohra in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under Section 53 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir has issued orders to prorogue both Houses of the State Legislature, an official spokesperson said this evening.
The 2016-17 Budget session of J&K Legislature started on May 25 with Vohra’s address at SKICC and ended on June 30, 2016.
