The Jammu and Kashmir government Tuesday called for an “emergency” cabinet meeting to discuss the Islamabad attack, official sources said.
Seven Amarnath pilgrims were dead and twelve sustained injuries in the attack, that took place near Batengo area on Srinagar-Jammu highway last evening.
The meeting will be chaired by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
Sources said that cabinet will pass a resolution against the Islamabad attack and also announce compensation for the victim families.
