The students of Government Higher Secondary School, Palhalan Pattan clashed with forces on Monday during a protest march, reports quoting sources said.

They said the students started marching amidst pro-freedom and anti-India slogans however they were intercepted by forces triggering clashes.

“Forces resorted to tear smoke shelling against stone pelting students creating panic in the area,” reports added.

Student protests have become common in Kashmir since April 17 after at least 60 college students were injured in force’s action in southern part of Kashmir’s Pulwama on April 15.
