The government today ordered a magisterial inquiry into the suspicious death of a young man in Peerbagh locality in Humhama area in Budgam district.
District Commissioner Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Lone told KNS magisterial inquiry, to be carried out by Additional deputy commissioner Srinagar, Hamidullah Mir, has been ordered to probe the death of the youth.
A throat-slit body of Owais Bashir Malik of Peerbagh was found today morning, police said,adding that the youth was missing from Tuesday.
Locals of Peerbagh poured on the roads and protested at Humhama road after the body was found. A police official said that they started investigation into the incident.
