SRINAGAR: The Government on Friday ordered several transfers and postings in the administration.
An order No.121-JK(GAD) of 2022 in this regard issued here by the General Administration Department said that consequent upon their promotion and in the interest of administration, the following Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service officers are hereby transferred and posted as District Mineral Officer in the Districts mentioned against each.
It is further ordered that the officers presently working against the post(s) of District Mineral officer in the above districts shall report to the Joint Director, Geology and Mining, Jammu/Kashmir, as the case may be.
Ten (10) posts from the overall cadre strength of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service at the level of Time Scale of JKAS are transferred to the Mining Department for the purpose of drawl of salary of the above officers, till the above officers remain posted there, reads the order.
