Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday ordered transfers and postings of several senior police officials.
An order issued here by the home department said: “In the interest of administration, the following transfers and postings of Police officers, are hereby ordered with immediate effect.”
It said Nisha Nathyal, SSP, Traffic city, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Commandant IR-10th Bn…vice Randeep Kumar.
Showkat Ahmad Dar, Commandant IR-13th Bn, is transferred and posted as Principal STC Sheeri, against available vacancy.
Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Commandant IR-13th Bn, vice Showkat Ahmad.
Kulbir Singh AIG, CIV, PHQ, is transferred and posted as SSP, PCR Jammu, vice Joginder Singh.
Randeep Kumar, Commandant IR-10th Bn, is transferred and posted as SSP CID SB Jammu, against available vacancy.
Joginder Singh SSP, PCR Jammu, is transferred and posted as SSP Traffic City, Jammu, vice Nisha Nathyal.
Al-Tahir Geelani, SP APCR Srinagar, is transferred and posted as SP Traffic City Srinagar, vice Tahir Saleem Khan, who shall report to PHQ till further orders.
Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, Addl.SP Traffic Srinagar is transferred and posted as SP Traffic Rural Kashmir, vice Aijaz Ahmad Bhat.
Mushtaq Ahmad Addl. SP Ramban is transferred and posted as SP Traffic Rural Jammu vice Shaheen Wahid.
Mubbasher Hussain SP, Dy. Commandant IR-16th Bn is transferred and posted as Addl. SP Traffic City Srinagar vice Muzaffar Ahmad Shah.
Shaheen Wahid SP Traffic Rural Jammu is transferred and posted as Dy. Commandant IR-24th Bn against available vacancy.
